Compact Cannabis Seeds for Small Spaces

Not everyone has a spare room. If your grow space is a 60 cm tent, a closet or a corner of the balcony, plant height decides which seeds make sense. This page lists the strains we have tagged as compact. Most are autoflowers that stay short and finish on a fast schedule, and a couple are feminized photoperiod plants with a modest frame. Each product page shows the indoor height we have on file, the flowering time and the THC level, so you can compare before you buy. Every order is packed by hand in Amsterdam and shipped discreetly.

What compact means in our shop

We tag a strain as compact when it is listed as a smaller plant. For indoor growing, the heights listed on our product pages mostly sit between about 50 and 90 cm, with a couple of feminized strains going to around 120 cm. That is a range, not a promise. Height still moves with your pot size, your light, how you train the plant and the phenotype you get from the pack. If you are working under a low ceiling, measure first and pick the strains at the short end of the range.

Autoflowers are the usual choice

Nearly everything on this page is an autoflower. An autoflower starts flowering on its own as it ages, so you do not need to switch your lights to a 12/12 schedule, and the plant tends to stay smaller than a photoperiod strain. That suits a tent where you cannot let a plant stretch for weeks. The flowering time on each product page is a good guide to how long the plant will take. If you are new to them, our guide to feminized versus autoflower seeds explains the trade-offs in plain terms.

Setting up a small grow

Small plants still need the basics. Use a pot that matches the plant, since autoflowers do not like being transplanted late. Keep the light close enough to be useful but far enough not to scorch the top. Plan airflow before you plan anything else, because a crowded tent holds heat and damp air. Low-stress training, bending the main stem gently sideways, spreads a short plant under the lamp without cutting anything. Our grow guide and the autoflower training article cover the steps.

Picking a strain from the list

Start with what you want to grow, not just the height. Skunk and Northern Lights types suit people who want something familiar. Fruit-forward strains such as Mangolicious or Blueberry are popular with those who care about aroma. Cheese and AK types sit in between. Check the THC level and flowering time on each page, then look at the pack sizes. If you are unsure, the beginner seeds category is a sensible second stop. If seeds do not germinate, our germination guarantee gives you free replacements within 90 days.

Frequently asked questions

How tall do compact cannabis plants get?

The indoor heights on our product pages run from about 50 cm to 120 cm, and most sit below 90 cm. Your setup and training change the final height.

Are compact seeds only autoflowers?

Mostly, yes. A couple of feminized photoperiod strains with a smaller frame are on the list too. The seed type is shown on every product page.

Can I grow these in a small tent?

Many people do. Check the listed height against your tent and your light, and leave room for the lamp. A 60 to 80 cm tent suits the shortest strains best.

Do I need to change my light schedule?

Not for autoflowers. They flower by age, so a steady light schedule works. Feminized photoperiod strains need the usual flowering schedule.

Do the seeds ship discreetly?

Yes. Orders are packed by hand in Amsterdam and go out in discreet packaging. Check our shipping page for the destinations we cover.
