The U.S. Postal Service has seen a surge in parcel volumes since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic. Quarantine and social distancing have made people reliant upon having their necessities delivered instead of going to a store to purchase items.  With staffing shortages, backlogs, and new policies, it has all taken a significant toll on the delivery time of parcels.

Thousands of postal workers have tested positive for Covid-19, and the death toll continues to increase. A shortage of staff adds to the rise of backlogs happening all over the US.

It’s no secret that the USPS is facing bankruptcy, and without help from Congress, it may not be around much longer. New policies like those of Postmaster General Louis DeJoy plan to eliminate overtime for its personnel to cut down on costs. This also slows the delivery time as it limits the amount of time for shipments to get processed and delivered.

Here at Amsterdam Marijunana Seeds, we will continue to provide you with the best service possible. However, we are now facing shipping obstacles that have never happened before. We can only hope that the shipping delays are resolved as soon as possible, but for the time being, we ask for your understanding and patience as we are all in this together.
